With that mission in mind, Café Us has welcomed a new Alaskan coffee partner, North Pole Coffee Roasting Company. North Pole Coffee is a family owned local business in Alaska. They have been in the specialty coffee business for over 30 years serving Alaskans and consumers worldwide.
Café Us is honored to be the first location in Alabama to offer their coffee to our local community.

In the indigenous Alaskan Yup’ik language, Usgumaut (Ooz-ga-maw-uh-t) means “to connect”. Yulista’s Café Usgumaut (Café Us for short) offers a shared space to grab coffee, breakfast, lunch or a casual spot for small meetings.
Café Us is open to the public which makes it a perfect place for our team members, neighbors and the community to connect.
Café Us is located on the ground floor of Yulista’s headquarters in Redstone Gateway, right outside of the Redstone Arsenal’s Gate 9.
Did you know?
Yulista owns Café Us Yulista has a contractual relationship with Eurest Dining (The Compass Group) to run our café in whatever way we want. It is for this reason that we can apply a 20% employee discount. It also means Yulista personnel designed the kitchen before Eurest moved in, so they are limited by what we made available to them. We work closely together and always look for ways to improve where we're able!
Make online ordering easier and include daily specials With our current software, our café manager does not have permissions to make edits to online ordering sites. We are looking into alternative solutions to enhance our online flexibility.
Outside Catering If you have your heart set on a specific restaurant for a catered event, our café can coordinate this for you! For a small upcharge, our café team will place the order, set up the food, provide plates, cutlery, etc., and clean up after.
Friday Specials These are not guaranteed, so we do not include them on the monthly menu. The café may create a Friday Special based on excess ingredients each week.
